Top O' the Morning Irish Breakfast
Top O' the Morning - a traditional Irish Breakfast tea
This Irish Morning Breakfast tea has a robust malty flavor and a lovely amber cup. Add some milk and you will be dancing an Irish jig in no time.
"Breakfast tea" is commonly used to refer to black teas that are very robust and served with a traditional hearty breakfast. Irish morning breakfast teas have a strong Assam content which is what gives it a malty flavor and red color. This tea is usually stronger than an English breakfast tea but not quite as strong as a Scottish breakfast tea. In addition, the Irish drink this tea all day long, not just for breakfast. Try it with a touch of milk.
Ingredients: a blend of Assam and other Indian Black teas
50g bag of tea is enough for approx. 15-18 cups of hot tea (depending on taste preferences).
