A Winnie the Pooh Inspired Tea Blend
This herbal tea blend is inspired by Tigger from Winnie the Pooh, created by A.A. Milne and published in 1926. Without a doubt, this is the perfect tea for upset stomachs.
“The name’s Tigger! T-I-double-guh-ER! That spells Tigger!” – Tigger introducing himself.
Tigger is an overly energetic and rambunctious bouncing tiger who lives in the Hundred Acre Wood. Being a troublemaker is hard work and Tigger takes it very seriously. As seriously as I take this tea blend named after him. You know those days where your tummy feels a little wibbly wobbly from eating too much honey? This blend is just the thing. It will fix your tummy right up and tame those wibbly wobblies so that you can get back to eating that yummy honey before the Heffalump’s steal it.
This soothing tea for upset stomachs blends both peppermint and spearmint. Peppermint and spearmint are both known to calm upset tummies. Our ancestors used to chew on mint leaves to help ease digestion, and nausea. They also are extremely aromatic and comforting, not to mention absolutely delicious when combined. We add lavender to this mix of mints to boost the tummy taming properties. Because lavender in tea gives off a hint of mint, it is the perfect companion to peppermint and spearmint to get the job done.
This is Tigger’s favorite hot wellness tea for his tummy. But, don’t be afraid to try it iced, as it turns into an equally refreshing drink that is packed full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Additionally, you don’t have to be fighting the tummy blues to enjoy this tea. Add it to your end of day relaxation routine, or try it iced for an equally refreshing alternative that is packed full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
After a nice cup of this tea for upset stomachs, Tigger is back to bouncing and pouncing like Tigger do best!
